If you’re a fan of vintage automobiles and technology then pay a visit to the heritage trams of Gothenburg’s Ringlinien, running between Central Station and Liseberg via Avenyn.

Some of these trams are over 100 years old and are a great way to see the sights of Gothenburg or just enjoy a scenic tour and be a part of the city’s history.

Important notice: Due to seasonality the Ringlinien heritage tram will be Saturdays until 29th of September but reopens for Christmas 18th November to the 22nd of December.

Highlights:

  • Historic trams
  • Family-friendly

The Experience:

Enjoy a free ride on one of Gothenburg’s oldest heritage trams and experience a part of Gothenburg’s transport history. The oldest trams date back over a century and you can journey across the city in these elegant classic carriages

The Heritage Tram experience is all non-profit and run by dedicated volunteers who love what they do! Running since 1981, the association also deals with repairs and restorations of the heritage tramways and buses that are still in use today around Gothenburg.
